Sign our Youth Skills Charter
Last updated at 15:35, Thursday, 24 May 2012
THE Youth Skills Charter is designed to help create a closer working relationship between businesses and schools and today’s launch is just the start of the process.
Businesses big and small are invited to offer whatever level of support they can reasonably fit into their busy schedules.
People can sign up using the form below.
The Hexham Courant, for its part, will keep the spotlight on the initiative.
In future articles, it will focus on the companies that get involved, progress reports from the schools and, most importantly of all, the experiences of some of the young people taking advantage of the fresh opportunities created.
Additionally, the Courant is sending copies of this week’s paper and details of our ‘Tynedale Today’ series to: Prime Minister David
Cameron, Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg, Chancellor George Osborne, Business Secretary Vince Cable, Communities Secretary Eric Pickles, Environment Secretary Caroline Spelman, the CBI and the North-East Chamber of Commerce.
